Been to London today… did my medical, seemed to go okay, she ticked the right box I think… Visa stuff went alright too, though I couldn’t put my start date on a couple of the forms… have to hope that’s easily fixable.
Hoping to receive my contract in the post tomorrow or Saturday. I’m scared and feeling a bit emotional about the whole thing at the moment. Various reasons, and having to leave special people behind again. The latest news isn’t exactly encouraging, though I’m trying not to think about it too much.
On a brighter note… had a nice evening in last night with bubbly wine and was cooked a really lovely meal 
Made me happy.
Weirdness - took one of my valium tablets about 10 minutes ago for a trial run and feeling VERY odd indeed right now. Like I weigh about 15 stone and my vision is lagged by a few seconds. Eerie.
