The Rosebush

I’m feeling a bit despondent about some things but really excited about others.

Despondency relates to:

• Zoladex wearing off and pain starting to come back.
• Not knowing where Josh is or if he’s safe.
• Discovering that giving Jason 3 chances was stupid.  Ouch. Again.
• Arguing with Matt about something totally pointless.
• Feeling far away from my friends and missing Rach and Colm and Anna and Caz and Lena.
• Having a stomach bug.
• Being nervous about mirena coil in March.

Excited and happy comes from:

• Getting support from a very surprising source. 
• Knowing that after the horrible mirena experience, I just have to do one week of work and then I’m meeting my parents in Singapore for a few days, then we’re all flying to Borneo for a proper holiday.  My only wish is that my brother was coming along as well, then it’d be like a proper ‘old days’ family holiday.  Well we can’t have everything, so I’ll just look forward to orangutans, turtles, monkeys and other amazing stuff.  Hopefully get a dive or two in as well
